Today, I worked up the courage to confess my feelings to this girl I’m crazy about. I even wrote and recorded a song for her. Instead of listening to it, she gave it to her ex boyfriend who responded to my heartfelt words by headbutting me. FML

Today, while at a work meeting, I finally summed up the courage to share and express my opinions about unprofessionalism in the office. After the meeting, I went to clean up, only to notice in the bathroom mirror that I’d had a booger pasted across my forehead throughout the meeting. FML

Today, I finally worked up the courage to tell my mom that I’m gay. She sympathetically patted my back and told me I don’t need to make up excuses for me being so unattractive to women. FML

Today, after many years of searching, I finally found out who my real father is. I gathered all my courage and gave him a call. I told him I was his daughter. He didn’t believe me, and started asking me what I was wearing. FML

Today, I was walking on the beach with the girl I’ve like for a long while. We talked for a long time and I finally got up the courage to kiss her. I leaned in to kiss her and right before our lips were about to meet, a football came flying over from a nearby game and hit me in the head. FML

Today, I worked up the courage at lunch to sit next to the girl I’ve been in love with for 3 years. Everything was going great. That is, until I sneezed and my retainer shot out my mouth, and landed in her lap. FML

Today, I finally worked up the courage to talk to the this hot guy in my law school contracts class. His response? “I’m no fashion expert, but I don’t think you’re supposed to wear purple underwear with white pants. Not that it matters, though, because your zipper is wide open.” FML

Today, I just summed up the courage to tell the guy I like my feelings. He said he liked me too. I then told him I was going to say “April fools!” if it turned out he didn’t like me. He replied with…”April fools!” FML

Today, I had just gathered up the courage to ask out my lab partner; we had been hitting it off the last couple weeks. Just before I asked her, she said, “I’m so glad I don’t see you outside of school, I think I would hate it if I did.” FML

Today, I was together with a few of my friends when I got up the courage to confess I have an eating disorder. One of my friends then said “… but you’re not skinny.” FML

Today, I was having an intimate moment with my detachable showerhead. I opened my eyes to find my husband of 4 months looking down on me. The only thing he said was, ‘You too?’ FML

Today, I finally got the courage to go on a first date with this guy I had a crush on for months. It was such a big deal for me cause it was my first date ever. The first thing he says when we met was “I have to take a dump.” I sat by myself for 10 minutes. FML

Today, I went for coffee with some people from work. I lined up to order behind a guy I’d only met a few times. When he paid, he dropped his wallet, and I saw that he had a picture of me cut from the company newsletter, enlarged, and taped inside his wallet. FML

Today, I walked in on my dad and his new “girlfriend”. A couple days ago I realized that my sexy clothes that my boyfriend had bought me for our anniversary was missing. Guess who was wearing it? FML

Today, a girl I’ve liked for several years gave me her number. Finally, I worked up the courage to call her. It was a suicide help line. FML
